Creating art jewellery with a story
The idea behind each piece comes from my personal life journey and experiences. Being able to share my life struggles through a medium that touches people enabled me to birth Tehila Designs. Each piece is influenced by emotional, mental and physical challenges, which tells a story of how to overcome them by having a positive mindset. The pieces are not to be regarded as just a form of beauty or body adornment alone. The intentional bashes and textures on the surface tell a story that life isn’t perfect, but with our flaws, challenges, and disappointments we can continue to thrive forward.
The pieces have been described as "appearing to be simple, sometimes delicate yet very effective, elegant, chic and very hard wearing".
WEAR THE STORY OF STRENGTH, PERSEVERANCE, AND EMPOWERMENT
I retrained at Holts Academy London (now British Academy of Jewellery) and graduated with a Level IV professional qualification in Jewellery Manufacture and Design in late 2013 prior to that I worked as a Health Librarian/Cataloguer for over a decade.
I am a member of the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) formerly British Association of Jewellers, and other creative small business organisations.
I hope you love wearing the pieces as much as I have enjoyed making them.
